Chiefs are seeking a replacement for Steve Komphela, who resigned in April after three trophyless seasons at Naturena and has since taken charge of Bloemfontein Celtic.
Amakhosi were subsequently linked with Eymael, but 'Bobsteak' maintains they never engaged with the Belgian.
Speaking to etv football show eShibobo, 'Bobsteak', however, admitted that he would love to have Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter back at the club.
Baxter won the league twice, the Nedbank Cup and the MTN8 with Chiefs from 2012 to 2015.
"Luc Eymael, we have never spoken to him, I must be clear. Stuart has been linked with us, he is a high-quality coach, high-level coach. If he is available I would love to have him," Motaung told eShibobo.
"Definitely back with the team, as people knows that he is a high-level coach. He understands the squad, he will be hitting the ground running if it happens. But unfortunately he is with SAFA now, he is a SAFA coach.
"So till we find a solution to whether he is available or not, but I think at the moment he is a SAFA coach. If he is linked with us it's quality ... I mean we looking at a high-profile coach. We are not looking at a small coach coming in.
"Luc Eymael, definitely we never spoken to him. We never engaged him, simply because he is also a Free State Stars coach. And he was never in our target anyway as a coach."
The Glamour Boys are expected to announce their new coach this week, with Patrick Mabedi currently overseeing pre-season training in an interim capacity.
