The Belgian tactician is hot property in South African football after turning Ea Lla Koto, who were fighting relegation in the 2016/2017 season, into Nedbank Cup champions and top-eight finishers in the league.
Both Amakhosi and Matsatsantsa are currently coachless after parting ways with Steve Komphela and Eric Tinkler.
Speaking to this website, Eymael said he will only consider offers should they come in before pre-season starts.
"I promised something to Free State Stars a long time ago, that if nothing came to concrete before I come back to Free State Stars I will remain with Free State Stars," Eymael said.
"So I don't know if the clubs contacted Free State Stars or not and if Free State Stars wants to exercise the buyout clause, and I cannot force them not to exercise it. And if Free State Stars wants to keep me, because I gave them a promise and there is a buy-out, I cannot force them to release me because I promised them something. And there is a buyout clause.
"So I have to be correct with the club, and I don't know anything about Chiefs and SuperSport. Yes, the teams, they contacted my agent and met with my agent. The agent told them exactly the same thing, that I'm contracted still one year. I'm still committed to one year with Free State Stars and that if nothing becomes concrete before the holidays [end] I will remain at Free State Stars. So I don't know anything about it. This matter is in the hands of my agent and yes they have to discuss. For the rest I cannot comment on it."
