Free State Stars defender Sifiso Mbhele yet to discuss new deal with the club

The 31-year-old's current contract expires in June, but Mulovhedzi says the Betlehem based side will always be given first option to negotiate as the player is very happy there.

"They haven't said anything, it ends now in June and they haven't said anything. Ja what we will do now is, because Sifiso is happy where he is and he is playing you see, so what we will do is we will wait for Free State Stars and if nothing happens, then that's when we will look for other options.

“But for now he is a Free State Stars player and they are both happy because he is playing. When the season ends that's where we will look further. As for offers they will always be there. Usually when a player's contract ends, you as a player or a representative you say nothing because they know it is about to finish.

“You have to wait for them, give them a chance. Maybe they are waiting to see if they will survive relegation, you never know. But if Free State Stars is not saying anything by then I will look further. We will give them a chance because for now Sifiso is  something there, he is at home there, it's his home town.”
