Kaizer Chiefs, Bloemfontein Celtic reportedly eyeing Tornado FC striker Kefuwe Siyoko

The former Free State Stars player has been a marvel to watch for the ABC Motsepe League side this season, netting nine goals, and has attracted attention according to a source close to the player.

"Kefuwe Siyoko has attracted interest from Kaizer Chiefs and Celtic," the source tells snl24.com/kickoff.

"He is a top striker, he did well against Chiefs in the Nedbank Cup. He is a top goalscorer at Eastern Cape Vodacom [League], formerly with Free State Stars. He had a good game [in the Nedbank Cup], he was giving them problems up front because he is tall, and they also robbed him of a penalty."

Tornado coach Motsoeneng said he would not deny nor confirm anything as it is the norm for players and agents to first hold negotiations elsewhere before breaking news to their clubs.

"Hayi no, the chairman said he has not made any contact with anybody and nobody has ever phoned him, and the boy himself says he has never made contact with anybody," says Motsoeneng.

"He don't know where your source got the juicy story from. The players [usually] have got five or six agents and the one that gets the move gets the signing, so you will never know. In this case I don't know anything, I don't know how many people are calling him.

"But look if anything like that happens it will be good for the club and the image of the club as well. It depends on the right suitors. Every year we have to release a player, it's good for development. But we will see. So far we have nothing. I can't deny nor confirm.

"But I won't really be surprised if people are talking to him, he deserves a second chance in the PSL, his stay at Free State Stars was short-lived. If he does go I think that will be good for him. It's possible that he can go there, very possible. In the ABC it's simple, it's development. In development there's nothing that you get, they just compensate for development.

"It will be good for us if he goes but first he must take us to the playoffs, just to the NFD and then he can go for free. I think this time around he has scored about nine or so. Wherever he is going I will be very happy for him."
