Kaizer Chiefs extend the contracts of defenders Ramahlwe Mphahlele and Kgotso Moleko

Mphahlele, who recently returned from an injury, has signed a two-year deal, with an option to renew for another campaign.

“I’m happy that I extended the contract to remain at this great club. It is now for me to repay the club by winning trophies,” he was quoted as saying by the club.

Moleko, meanwhile, has signed a two-year with the club, with his contract expiring in June 2021.

The arrival of German coach Ernst Middendorp has seen Moleko becoming a regular in the side, having previously. Moleko recently admitted that, at some stage, he thought of leaving Amakhosi to look for game time elsewhere, but a lot has changed for him in the last few months with Middendorp at the helm.

The 29-year-old Moleko has played eight Absa Premiership matches since Middendorp arrived.
