Kaizer Chiefs release William Twala, Keagan Buchanan, Edmore Chirambadare, Sibusiso Khumalo and Tsepo Masilela

Amakhosi have confirmed the release of midfielders William Twala, Keagan Buchanan and Edmore Chirambadare, as well as defenders Sibusiso Khumalo and Tsepo Masilela, with striker Emmanuel Letlotlo possibly going out on loan.

Masilela's current contract is set to run up at the end of June and, after a six-year stay at Naturena, will leave the club on a free transfer.

It is suspected he will be pursuing opportunities in the United States, where he is currently away on vacation with his family.

Twala, who spend the second half of last season on loan at Maritzburg United, Buchanan, Chirambadare and Khumalo, who all played trivial roles at the club last season, have all been let go despite only arriving two years ago.

Meanwhile, Letlotlo, who missed last season through a serious knee injury, is expected to leave on a loan deal for the upcoming season, with negotiations still ongoing, according to a statement from the club.
