Mamelodi Sundowns look set to loan out Lucky Mohomi and a few others in their team

The former Free State Stars midfielder completed his second season with the Absa Premiership champions in May, but struggled for game-time due to injury and competition in central midfield.

The arrival of Jali makes life even more difficult for Mohomi, and Sundowns could consider loaning the player out in the coming season for him to get game-time and get back his confidence.

Other players who look set to either be loaned out or sold are: Anthony Laffor, Cuthbert Malajila, Siyanda Zwane, Fares Hachi, Yannick Zakri and Mogakolodi Ngele

Zwane, Hachi, Zakri and Ngele spent the second half of last season out on loan and they are unlikely to break into coach Pitso Mosimane’s team. Hachi and Zakri, in particular, are foreign players and Sundowns have already exhausted their quota. In fact, Sundowns need to make space for two foreign players who are coming in – Toni Silva and South American forward Jose Ali Meza.
