Sundowns signed Ntuli in 2014 from Golden Arrows along with Siyanda Zwane, but Ntuli has featured less than the defender, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Ajax Cape Town after losing his place in the side to Thapelo Morena.
Ntuli only made two substitute appearances in his first season at Downs and played a handful of games in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge under then-coach Alex Bapela as captain.
In the second half of that season he was loaned to AmaZulu and looked to have rekindled his old form as he scored six goals in 13 appearances. Those goals earned a Bafana Bafana call-up from Shakes Mashaba for a 2015 AFCON qualifier with Gambia at Durban's Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Since then Ntuli has been loaned to Platinum Stars for the past three seasons and clearly is not in coach Pitso Mosimane's plans. With Dikwena relegated from the PSL in 2017/18, Ntuli is eager to secure first team football for next term.
"I'm going back to Chloorkop for the pre-season because I've still got a contract with them," Ntuli tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"But I spoke with my manager to [make a] request to them to let me leave for next season and in the same token they weren't straight with me on what should I do. So I'm just waiting for them on what they are going to say.
"The reason why I want to leave them for good is because Sundowns don't play me. So I don't want to stay the whole season not playing because that'll be very bad in my career. So it's better I get a team where I'll play."
Ntuli says Bidvest Wits, AmaZulu and Maritzburg United have shown a desire to bring him on board.
"AmaZulu have showed an interest, Maritzburg and Wits; those are the teams so far," Ntuli reveals.
"But at this point in time it is not clear. I just want a team that can understand me and [where I can] play football. No issues of why this player is not playing and this one is playing. I just want to play for a team and play football, that's all."
Usuthu coach Cavin Johnson has previously voiced his desire to recruit Ntuli, having previously worked with the big forward at Dikwena.
