Mxolisi Macuphu says parent club Bidvest Wits to make the call on SuperSport United future

Macuphu has been enjoying great form since arriving at United on loan from Wits during the January transfer window.

The former Golden Arrows striker was on target when Matsatsantsa beat Free State Stars 1-0 in a league match played at Lucas Moripe Stadium last Sunday to put themselves into the race for the league title.

Already there have been reports that SuperSport have expressed an interest in keeping Macuphu at the club next season.

"I will leave that to the office," Macuphu tells snl24.com/kickoff.

"If anything goes I have to respect Wits. They are my team. If they call me back I have to report back. If SuperSport say otherwise and want me, we will see."

SuperSport coach Kaitano Tembo has already expressed his happiness about the contribution made by Macuphu, who is enjoying the game-time he is receiving.

"It's always great as a player if you play most of the time and get those opportunities and chances. It's always a great feeling. I am excited to be part of SuperSport United," adds the former Chippa United striker.

"The race for the league is still on. We are taking it one game at a time. We are pushing and now we have a big one against [Kaizer] Chiefs and we need to stay focused."
