Baroka start preparing for the new campaign today, following the arrival of Elvis Chipezeze, Tshediso Patjie, Bheki Maliba, Thabo Moseki, Bonginkosi Makume, Siseko Manana, Armand Gnanuillet, Ananias Gebhardt, Shabani Hussein and Orebotse Mongae.
Baroka, meanwhile, have parted ways with Lewis Macha, Punch Masenamela, Mzwanele Mahashe, Khutso Mohwatseleng and Rethabile Soso.
Nyirenda says he will have a look at his players ahead of the campaign, while mentioning there could be others he will bring in.
“My mandate is to build a soccer team,” said the former Zambia coach on Friday.
“We are starting training on Monday and we will need to see the players we have and then also the others that still need to come in.
“My job is to ask for players and the executive has deemed it fit to bring in the 10 that we have. Going forward we have to assess everyone and see who is doing what and who is not doing what. Our job is to help them to grow and help them to become stars.“
