Pirates close in on Zambia and Zesco United striker Lazarous Kambole

Black Leopards and Kaizer Chiefs have also been linked with a move for the Zesco United frontman, who impressed during the recent COSAFA Cup in Polokwane.

According to a source at Pirates, the club could tie up a deal for Kambole when they make the trip to Zambia this weekend for a pre-season camp.

"There are a few things left to be sorted out," says the informant.

"The deal could be struck and the player starts training with Pirates next week."

Bucs already have two Zambian attackers on their books in the shape of Justin Shonga and Augustine Mulenga.
