Swallows midfielder Banele Skhondze is expected to be one of the players Rise and Shine unveil, as they look to bolster their squad after a difficult campaign last season. City finished the season in 12th place.
'Pupu', as Skhondze is affectionately known in Swaziland, has signed a three-year contract with City.
The former Jomo Cosmos midfielder was earlier linked with a move to Bidvest Wits. According to a source close to Rise and Shine, the club is set to unveil another foreign striker during the press conference in Limpopo.
“Skhondze has signed a three-year deal with Polokwane City. He is one of the players to be unveiled by the club in Polokwane tomorrow [Wednesday],” said the source.
City spokesman Vusi Ntimane confirmed the club will unveil new players on Wednesday, but declined to reveal their names.
