Polokwane City will unveil their new players on Wednesday morning

Swallows midfielder Banele Skhondze is expected to be one of the players Rise and Shine unveil, as they look to bolster their squad after a difficult campaign last season. City finished the season in 12th place.

'Pupu', as Skhondze is affectionately known in Swaziland, has signed a three-year contract with City.

The former Jomo Cosmos midfielder was earlier linked with a move to Bidvest Wits. According to a source close to Rise and Shine, the club is set to unveil another foreign striker during the press conference in Limpopo.

“Skhondze has signed a three-year deal with Polokwane City. He is one of the players to be unveiled by the club in Polokwane tomorrow [Wednesday],” said the source.

City spokesman Vusi Ntimane confirmed the club will unveil new players on Wednesday, but declined to reveal their names.
