Thandani Ntshumayelo confident he'll get a chance to play at Baroka FC

The former Orlando Pirates midfielder has been training with Wits since his ban for using cocaine was lifted by the South African Institute for Drug Free Sport (SAIDS) in 2018.

"I'm here at Baroka," Ntshumayelo tells snl24.com/kickoff.

"What's important for me and my family is to play football and provide for my family, so I'm gonna get the opportunity to do that. I want to play football and as you can see at Wits they are challenging for the league so there is too much pressure you see.

"So even if I stayed I wouldn't have played because they have a chance of winning the league so they can't risk it. I couldn't wait for next season, I want to play my brother. Me and the coach [Gavin Hunt] we spoke about those things."

Hunt couldn't be reached for comment.
