The likes of Raymond Monama, Lehlogonolo Masalesa and Luvolwethu Mpeta could leave Platinum Stars

Stars were given a second chance in the relegation/promotion play-offs, but they failed to use it as Black Leopards booked themselves a place in the PSL for next season.

snl24.com/kickoff understands there are number of players are on big contracts at Dikwena and will have to be let go to balance the books. Some of the players who are expected to leave the club are: Dino Visser, Lehlogonolo Masalesa, Raymond Monama, Robert Ng’ambi, Luvolwetu Mpeta, Ryan de Jongh and Enocent Mkhabela.

There is also the possibility that the club is going to relocate to Cape Town, and some players could be affected by this. The likes of Robert Ng’ambi, Sibusiso Msomi and Mere have been in Rustenburg for a number of years now and will no doubt be impacted should the club decide to relocate.

The club will move from getting the R1.5 million monthly grant from the PSL to R350 000 in the First Division, which is a huge adjustment.

snl24.com/kickoff tried to get hold of Stars coach Roger de Sa, who is part of the consortium which bought the club for just over R20 million in January, but he could not be reached.
