A look at Tebogo Tlolane's satin VW Polo

Orlando Pirates star Tebogo Tlolane has some nice set of wheels to get him to training and back. Here's a look.

The story

The Bucs midfielder owns a lovely Volkswagen Polo with an estimated price of over R200 000 at the time of its purchase.

Fans have shown a curiosity about which cars their favourite stars drive, and with Tlolane being one of the most likable ballers in the Orlando camp, it is fair to have a closer look at his wheels.

The ride

The Polo is one of the best-selling models in South Africa, according to Cars.co.za. The Bucs attacker drives the fifth generation of the car, which is also known as the Polo Mark 5.

The Mk5 was first introduced in 2009 and continued up until 2017. It is known to be appreciated for subtle sportiness even in the TSI and TDI versions, while its attractive exterior design made it a catch for many. Admittedly, the ride is quite common on the roads, showing just how popular it is among car buyers, including Tlolane himself.

The 27-year-old's one features a refreshing sunroof, providing the perfect ventilation after intense training and matches.

More about the player

According to Pirates' official website, the playmaker was discovered in the gravel pitches of Katlehong, Johannesburg, where he was nicknamed "Messi" thanks to his diminutive physique and silky footwork to glide past opponents.

The player has had a somewhat chronological trajectory in his career as he started out in the ABC Motsepe League, then on the GLAD Africa Championship, before playing topflight football.

Your thoughts, please?

Given that Tlolane rarely had game-time in the Pirates first team last season, what would be the best move for his career ahead of next season?
