Cristiano Ronaldo's South African diamond inspired ride

Cristiano Ronaldo missed the first day of pre-season Monday as he was seen riding out in Portugal with a marvelous Rolls Royce Cullinan.

The story

Ronaldo's future at Manchester United is currently grabbing headlines as he reportedly wants out of the club. The 37-year-old was in Lisbon with Rolls Royce's first all-terrain SUV.

Seeing what Ronaldo sees in the ride

Seeing a global superstar driving himself around in an overly luxuriant car makes for some viewing pleasure. Rich people who own these cars are generally chauffered, but Ronaldo seemingly prefers being behind the wheel as the point isn't always to get from point A to B but to also enjoy the driving experience.

The Cullinan is named after a precious diamond original found in South Africa and the model is renowned for its luxury off-road qualities, a rather rare thing when it comes to high-end vehicles.

Having mentioned that this car usually has a designated driver, its interior features really demonstrate the fact as it is said to have a rear and front cabin which can be separated by an electrochromic glass that switches from transparent to opaque at a touch of a button, per Rolls Royce North Houston.

The car also boasts some convenient indoor entertainment features including lead-crystal champagne flutes, allowing a world of unparalleled opulence inside the SUV. Its starting price is said to be around $335 350 (R5.3 million), although the car is understood to be slightly more expensive than that in Mzansi.

Did you know?

In the PSL, Royal AM bosses Shauwn Mkhize and Andile Mpisane do own a black Rolls Royce Cullinan in their household.

Your thoughts, please?

Shoud Ronaldo leave United?
