2021 AFCON Qualification Wrap:

Algeria secured their spot at the 2021 AFCON after playing out a 2-2 draw against Zimbabwe, who had dropped Kaizer Chiefs star Khama Billiat to the bench for the encounter. The reigning African champions scored twice in five minutes before half time through Andy Delort and Riyad Mahrez, before Zimbabwe mounted a second-half comeback through Knowledge Musona and Prince Dube to claim a share of the points.

Elsewhere, Eswatini claimed the first points of their 2021 qualification campaign after holding Group I rivals Congo Republic to a stalemate.

Burkina Faso managed to secure their spot at the top of the Group B standings after playing out a goalless draw against Malawi. South Sudan's shock win over Uganda in the day's other fixture means that, with two qualification matches still to be played, all four nations can still mathematically qualify for Africa's showpiece tournament.
