Super Eagles boss Gernot Rohr has announced his 24-man squad for the nation's double-header against Sierra Leone on 13 and 17 November.
Kaizer Chiefs star Daniel Akpeyi is the only Africa-based player to have been included in the selection, and will compete for a spot in goal with Maduka Okoye and the uncapped Sebastian Osigwe.
In defence, the likes of William Troost-Ekong and Leon Balogun have been called up, behind a midfield that includes Rangers ace Joe Aribo, who missed the team's past two matches against Algeria and Tunisia.
Star striker Victor Osimhen has also returned and features alongside a strong attacking line-up that includes Ahmed Musa, Samuel Chukwueze, Alex Iwobi and Kelechi Iheanacho, among others.
GK: Daniel Akpeyi (Kaizer Chiefs); Maduka Okoye (Sparta Rotterdam); Sebastian Osigwe (Lugano)
