Niger 0-1 Algeria
Algeria qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast next year with a 1-0 win over Niger at the Stade Olympique in Rades on Monday evening.
Striker Baghdad Bounedjah, whose winning strike in the 2019 edition in Egypt steered the Desert Foxes to the title, was on target again inside just five minutes from kick-off.
The win was also the North Africans' fourth in succession in Group F and will now participate in their 20th continental finals in their footballing history.
Guinea-Bissau 0-1 Nigeria
Nigeria returned to winning ways to get their campaign towards qualification back on track with a 1-0 victory over Guinea-Bissau at the Estadio 24 de Setembro.
It took a 30th minute penalty-kick from Moses Simon to hand the Super Eagles maximum points, which took the side back to the top of the table in Group A.
The Super Eagles were shocked by the same score-line in the corresponding fixture this past Friday and are now two points clear over Guinea-Bissau following this victory.
Angola 1-1 Ghana
Ghana missed out on early qualification to the tournament after a 1-1 draw against Angola in their fourth match in Group E.
Lucas Joao broke the deadlock for the host five minutes after the break with a spot-kick but Osman Bukari rescued the Black Stars late on as the spoils were shared in Luanda.
The draw leave the Black Stars top of the group and boast a three-point cushion ahead of the Palancas Negras in second-place.
Ethiopia 2-3 Guinea
Guinea strengthened their ambitions to book a spot at Afcon with an entertaining 3-2 victory over Ethiopia in Rabat.
The visitors needed just four minutes to go ahead through Liverpool's Naby Keita, but Kenean Markneh restored parity for the Walias.
However, Valencia midfielder Ilaix Moriba put the visiting team back ahead minutes later and ensured that they ended the first half in the ascendancy.
Guinea pulled further away when Morgan Guilavogui made it three around full-time, before Kitika Jima Ojulu claimed a second for the host who succumbed to defeat in the end.
South Sudan 0-1 Congo
Congo got back to winning ways to keep their hopes of reaching the finals alive following a narrow 1-0 win over South Sudan at the Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium in a Group G encounter.
A last-gasp finish from second-half substitute Gabriel Charpentier guided the Congolese to maximum points and avenged the loss suffered on their own soil in the reverse fixture on Friday.
