The groups for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers have now been revealed!
On Thursday afternoon, CAF confirmed the draw for qualifying phase of the 2025 AFCON, with 48 nations now placed into 12 groups of four.
The number-one ranked nation on the continent and hosts of the tournament, Morocco, are in Group B, and have been drawn alongside Gabon, Central Africa Republic, and Lesotho.
Reigning African champions Ivory Coast, who will look to qualify and defend their title, have been placed in Group G with Zambia, Sierra Leone, and Chad.
Record AFCON champions Egypt, who have seven titles, will face off against Cape Verde, Mauritania, Botswana in Group C.
Bafana Bafana, meanwhile, who were one of the seeded teams in the draw due to them being a top 10 CAF nation, will play against Uganda, Congo, and South Sudan in Group K for a spot in Morocco next year.

Group I: Mali, Mozambique, Guinea-Bissau, Eswatini
Group J: Cameroon, Namibia, Kenya, Zimbabwe
Group K: South Africa, Uganda, Congo, South Sudan
Group L: Senegal, Burkina Faso, Malawi, Burundi
The first round of qualifying games, matchday 1 and 2, will take place between 2 to 10 September 2024.
