African football's governing body has confirmed that Senegal and Mali have both fined, along and two players receiving suspensions.

Prior to the Lions of Teranga losing 5-4 on penalties to Ivory Coast in a round of 16 encounter, the referee chose not to award a penalty to Senegal during regulation time, prompting an emotional outburst from player Krepin Diatta after the game.
The 24-year-old accused the officials of corruption, and was reported to have already been punished by CAF early last week.
However, the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) stated that nothing had been communicated to them.
CAF has now confirmed, however, that the player has been charged with bringing the African body into "disrepute" with his comments.
"The Disciplinary Board found the player Krepin Diatta guilty. Diatta was suspended for four (4) matches, two (2) of which are suspended for a period of one year. He was also fined $10 000 (about R189 000)," a statement from the body read.
The FSF was also "charged with team's misconduct", resulting in a fine of $5 000 (about R94 400).
In the quarter-final, the Elephants beat Mali by two goals to one in a game in three red cards were handed out.
After the host nation scored a late winner in extra-time, a number of Les Aigles players surrounded the referee in protest, with captain Hamari Traore at the forefront of what some had described as "harassment".
As a result, the player was shown a red card, but his punishment for the matter has not ended there.
"The Disciplinary Board found the player Hamari Traore guilty of unsporting conduct towards the match official. Traore was suspended for four (4) matches two (2) of which are suspended for a period of one year," CAF said in the same statement.
"The Federation Malienne de Football was also fined $10 000 (around R189 000).
"The Federation Ivoirienne de Football was also charged with team's misconduct. They were fined $5 000 (around R94 445)."
