Ghana have confirmed their squad for this month Africa Cup of Nations, which gets underway in Ivory Coast.
The Black Stars will come up against seven-time winners Egypt, Mozambique and Cape Verde in the group stage phase.
Chris Houghton will hope to avoid another embarrassment after the Black Stars were eliminated in the group stages at the tournament two years ago.
The Black Stars coach has only included two Ghanaian-based players in the squad, but there no place for Arsenal star Thomas Partey.
Ghana will open their Afcon campaign against Cape Verde on Sunday, 14 January.
