Former Al Ahly head coach Marcel Koller has reportedly attracted interest from the Red Devils' arch rivals.
The Swiss mentor was dismissed by the Red Devils following the club's elimination from the CAF Champions League in the semi-finals at the hands of Mamelodi Sundowns.
Meanwhile, Peseiro's future with Zamalek came under scrutiny after falling to Stellenbosch FC's defeat in the quarterfinals of the Confederation Cup.

Amid speculation that the Portuguese may be sacked, several coaches have been linked with the job, including Pitso Mosimane and Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro.
With The White Knight reportedly expected to replace Peseiro for next season, Koller has become the latest tactician to be offered to the club, according to Egyptian Journalist Karim Hassan Shehata.
"Some intermediaries have offered Zamalek officials a contract with Koller next season," Shehata said per Almasryalyoum.com.
"The obstacle preventing Zamalek from completing negotiations with Kohler is the Swiss coach's high salary, which amounts to $220,000 (approximately R4 million).
