A former Al Ahly star insists that head coach Marcel Koller is likely to be sacked should the Egyptian giants fall to Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Champions League.
It is now claimed that there is a lot at stake for Al Ahly's manager ahead of the first-leg semi-final clash against Sundowns this coming Saturday.
The Red Devils are aiming to defend their Champions League title, a feat that would be unprecedented, as no team has ever won the competition three times in a row.

However, not everyone is optimistic that the Swiss manager can make history in the Champions League.
Ex-Al Ahly star Ahmed Abu Muslim says he is not even hopeful that his former side will progress past Sundowns in the semi-finals, and if that turns out to be the case, Koller will be dismissed.
According to Btolat.com, Muslim responded when asked about the upcoming two-legged clash against Masandawana: "I’m not optimistic, and without a doubt, Koller’s future hinges on the next two games and winning the league.
"Any failure in these will see him leave.
"If Koller wins both, he will stay, because we Egyptians forget quickly. If he wins two titles, people will forget everything, and on paper, he will be seen as successful.
"But if he loses to Sundowns, there’s an 80% chance he will be out of Al Ahly."
Al Ahly left Cairo on Tuesday night to travel to South Africa, where they will take on Sundowns at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday afternoon at 3pm.
