Once it is over, many players will be heading on a brief holiday before returning to their respective clubs for pre-season ahead of the start of the 2024/25 season.
It has already been confirmed that South Africa will host a foreign club for pre-season this month, with Bundesliga outfit FC Augsburg having recently announced they will be in Mpumalanga later in June as part of their partnership with TS Galaxy.
Yet another foreign team could also arrive on Mzansi shores in the near future, with Young Africans president Hersi Said claiming that they have been invited for pre-season in South Africa, according to Tanzanian outlet Daily News.
Said did not divulge which club from Mzansi invited them, but did add that there have also been invitations from Kenya and a European country, all of whom will be revealed at a later stage.

Reflecting on the season just past, which saw them win their 30th Tanzanian Premier League title, Said highlighted the club's impressive return to the group stage of the CAF Champions League after 25 years.
"Many people thought that we would not be able to reach the quarter-finals because we were in a very difficult group. But we surprised those who doubted us," the Yanga president said, according to IPP Media.
"We managed to reach the quarter-final stage and were defeated by the champion of the African Football League and football giant in South Africa, Mamelodi Sundowns.
"However, we scored a legitimate goal, which the president of the Confederation of African Football, Dr Patrice Motsepe, acknowledged as legitimate."
