Ahead of the new season, expectations will be high for Africa's top 10 most valuable clubs – a list that includes four South African teams.
In the 2024/25 campaign, teams from the continent will be in all sorts of action. Whether they are competing in the CAF Champions League, the African Football League, CAF Confederation Cup, or the FIFA Club World Cup, each African team will be looking to show their worth.

They will all be hoping their performances on the pitch serves as an appropriate reflection to their monetary value as they push to show the rest of the world the footballing quality Africa possesses.
Mamelodi Sundowns currently hold the title of being the continent's most valuable club, according to Transfermarkt.
Masandawana have brought in a number of new signings, including Kobamelo Kodisang, who was signed from Liga Portugal side Moreirense, and Brazilian Arthur Sales, who was purchased from Belgium outfit Lommel SK, as they once again look to compete on all fronts.
Last season, the Brazilians won the Premiership and the African Football League titles, but were knocked out of the CAFCL at the semi-final stage.
All things considered, the South African outfit is estimated to have a value of €36.7 million (about R742 million).
Just behind them are reigning domestic and continental champions Al Ahly, who boast a star-studded line-up that includes Bafana Bafana star Percy Tau and the Ligue 1-linked Mohamed Abdelmonem.
The Red Devils are the second-most valuable club on the continent, with a worth of €28 million (R565 million), per Transfermarkt.
Occupying third position are 2023/24 CAFCL finalists Esperance Sportive de Tunis, who lost out on continental glory after suffering a 1-0 defeat on aggregate to the abovementioned Egyptian giants.
They did, however, win the Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle 1 a whopping 33rd time last season, and are said to have a value of €21.8 million (R440 million).

Outside of the top 10, in 12th place lie Golden Arrows. They are followed by SuperSport United in 16th, AmaZulu in 20th and Cape Town City in 21st, with Richards Bay occupying 25th spot.
