With Percy Tau having been linked with a move away from Al Ahly throughout the transfer window, a Red Devils executive has now revealed the truth on the matter.
Speculation surrounded the South African attacker's future for months as he was linked with moves to Europe, the Middle East, as well as other clubs on the continent.

It was also claimed that Red Devils head coach Marcel Koller told the side's hierarchy he would approve the 30-year-old's sale in order to replace him with another foreign player.
According to Al Ahly CEO Amir Tawfik, however, this was never the case.
"Who said that there was a technical decision to sell Percy Tau? Who said that he would leave?" the executive said on television channel MBC Masr, per MSN.
"Who revealed the information that there was a technical decision for Percy Town to leave?"
"Koller is convinced of Percy Tau technically.
"Everything that is said is just talk."
The former Mamelodi Sundowns star has made an impressive start to the 2024/25 campaign, using the on-field opportunities to quell speculation surrounding his future in Cairo.
The 30-year-old helped his side pick up a 6-0 aggregate victory over Kenyan outfit Gor Mahia in their CAF Champions League second preliminary round tie, managing to find the back of the net twice in the first leg.

While the Bafana Bafana star was unable to drive his team to victory in their CAF Super Cup final against Zamalek late last month, he will be looking to add to his goals tally as Ahly continue to pursue trophies on both the domestic and continental front.
