Al Ahly do their homework on Pirates' star players

Al Ahly assistant coach claims the staff have watched several footage of Orlando Pirates ahead of their CAF Champions League clash on Saturday.

The reigning African champions will take on the Buccaneers at Orlando Stadium, looking to maintain their winning start in the group stages.

Al Ahly's lost visit to South Africa in the Champions League ended in a 5-2 loss at the hands of Mamelodi Sundowns in a group stage clash that also took place at 15h00, a time which the Egyptians do not agree with.

"Orlando is a strong team and is looking to take advantage of the match being played at home and in front of its fans to achieve a positive result, in addition to the fact that it will be played at 3pm in hot weather, all of which make the match more difficult," Komsan told Al Ahly's official website, as per Kooora.

"The technical staff watched several recordings of the Orlando team and learned about their style of play and the most prominent players in their ranks, in order to develop an appropriate plan to face them.

"These matters will be explained during the technical lectures that the technical staff will hold with the players."
