Al Ahly have reportedly made a unique request to CAF ahead of Saturday's CAF Champions League semi-final against Mamelodi Sundowns.
The Egyptians take on Sundowns for a 15th time at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Saturday, but they do not have a great record in South Africa.

According to Ysscores, Al Ahly officials have submitted a request to CAF to ensure the safety of the team's delegation from any clashes with the Chloorkop-based side.
The report adds the request came after Sundowns and Esperance supporters clashed in the quarterfinals at Loftus on 1 April.
Both clubs have been fined for the incident, with the Egyptian delegation now reportedly requesting security before and after blockbuster clash.
Al Ahly's last visit to Sundowns in the Champions League ended in a 5-2 loss back in 2023, while they are yet to defeat to The Brazilians in seven away attempts.
Despite the record, Marcel Koller has made it clear that they have studied the 2016 Champions League winner and are well aware of the threats.
"Our goal is clear: to reach the final. Al-Ahly is competing strongly in all competitions, and the players have extensive experience and have previously played in South Africa," Koller said, as per WinWin.
"We are fully aware of the strength of Sundowns, and the match will not be easy, but we have studied the opponent well, and we have a strong desire to achieve a positive result."
