Dieng becomes the third player to leave the Egyptian giants in this window, following the exits of French striker Anthony Modeste as a free agent and winger Cristo, who has joined Tunisian side CS Sfaxien on loan.
He has claimed 15 trophies since joining the Red Devils in 2019, including four Champions League titles, which makes him the most decorated non-Egyptian player in the history of Africa's elite club competition.
Moreover, Al Kholood have also been linked with Percy Tau in recent weeks, although they reportedly face competition from another Saudi club, Al Wehda, as well as an unnamed United Arab Emirates club for his signature.
Former FC Barcelona star Alex Collado is also linked with a permanent move to Al Kholood after he spent the 2023/24 on loan at the club from Real Betis.
