Cameroon head coach Marc Brys has now blasted the president of the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT) Samuel Eto'o over a video of their altercation that went viral.
In May this year, a video of Eto'o shouting at Brys began circulating online, with the former seen angrily addressing the latter following his controversial appointment as the national team coach.
While details over what caused the incident seemed unclear, it did not come as much of a surprise for many as Brys had controversially been appointed into the role by the Cameroon minister of sports without the knowledge of FECAFOOT.

FECAFOOT said they were appalled to hear of Brys' appointment on television just like everybody else and the organisation initially refused to recognise the Belgian tactician as the replacement of former boss Rigobert Song.
Brys has now opened up on his viral altercation with Eto'o, insisting that things came to a head when the four-time CAF Player of the Year started giving him orders.

"It was just a simple altercation ," the 62-year-old told Belgian newspaper La Derniere Heure. "FECAFOOT had summoned us to its premises for the umpteenth time, as usual, without telling us the agenda.
"Given the aggression and threats I was subjected to on social networks, the Minister of Sports had asked two of his colleagues to accompany us there.
"Arriving well behind schedule, Eto'o saw me but initially ignored me, before signaling me quite aggressively to join him. I don't like taking orders, especially not when no one says hello to me. So I gave him a break, and that's when the video starts.
"He felt humiliated because I got back at him by being contemptuous like him and so he started shouting and threatening me. Before that, he had also been discourteous and insulting towards the advisor to the Minister of Sports."
Brys added: "I especially hope that FECAFOOT, of which Eto'o is the president, will stop putting spokes in my wheels. It bothers me enormously because, unfortunately, they do everything to destabilise us and therefore to increase our chances of losing. How can you be against your own country?"
