The European coach who infamously labelled Rulani Mokwena as "arrogant" has reportedly responded to rumours linking him with a role in Morocco.
In May 2024, Belgian coach Sven Vandenbroeck made some controversial remarks about Mokwena, who at the time was still the manager of Mamelodi Sundowns.

In an interview with the Arabic television programme Koura Every Day, Vandenbroeck said at the time: "Sundowns is the best team in Africa, not because of the results, but because of the performance it provides in all aspects.
"I see it as a team with European standards.
"What's wrong with the Sundowns team is that its coach is arrogant, but technically the team is very special.
"If we talk in terms of results, Al Ahly will be the strongest in Africa, of course, because of its results in the past seasons and the championships it won."
More than six months later, Vandenbroeck has been linked with a return to Morocco, where Mokwena currently plies his trade.
The European coach has previously managed Wydad Athletic Club and FAR Rabat, and in recent weeks, his name has been mooted for the role at Moroccan top-flight side Maghreb Fez.
According to Le360 Sport, upon reaching out to Vandenbroeck, the tactician confirmed that he won't be taking up any job in the Botola Pro 1 in the immediate future.
The 45-year-old, who has also coached the Zambia national team and Simba SC, affirmed that his focus was with his current club Zulte Waregem, who play in the Belgian second tier.
