Elsewhere, the winger's potential departure from the club made headlines after his lawyer, Kabelo Mashigo, publicly revealed that the player was owed money by the team.
The attorney also indicated that they had sent the club a notice of potential contract termination due to the terms not being fulfilled.
"No, we have made it clear that this cannot happen again, and the enforcement of applicable regulations will be applied without further notice, should anything like this ever happen," the lawyer explained, according to SABC Sport.
"On Friday we had a discussion with the club, and we were able to find each other. The club has essentially rectified its breach, meaning they are no longer in breach and have complied with the terms of the contract to date."
Ultimately, the matter has been laid to rest.
Mokwana, meanwhile, will be looking to fully establish himself under his new coach Laurentiu Reghecampf after making his debut appearance under the Belgian.
