EPL club rewards African sensation with stunning Porsche

A Premier League club has now rewarded their young African sensation with a stunning Porsche.

Several African footballers have shone in the EPL this season, outside the usual suspects such as Mohamed Salah, with the likes of Mohammed Kudus, Simon Adingra, and Carlos Baleba having announced themselves in the English top flight this season.

Aged just 20, the latter, Baleba, has made 31 appearances in all competitions for Brighton Hove Albion so far in this campaign after joining the club in August 2023 from Lille in a deal worth €27 million (R546 million).

Having been recruited as a replacement for departed Ecuadorian midfielder Moises Caicedo, the uncapped Cameroonian has impressed many under manager Roberto De Zerbi, and has started every single league match since the beginning of March.

In fact, he was voted Man of the Match twice in the month of March, after a 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest and a 0-0 draw with Brentford, and he has now been gifted with a luxury car for his impressive performances.

Following the Seagulls' recent Premier League match against Burnley, De Zerbi praised the youngster for his display against the relegation-threatened side, with the fixture having ended in a 1-1 draw.

According to The Argus, the Albion boss said: "Yes, I think he played a good game. Carlos is improving in this last part of the season.

"We can't forget he is 20 and I don't know how many games in the Premier League he has had. We have to respect that and we have to respect our policy."
