'Ait Menna may accept Rulani's demands in only one case...'

With Rulani Mokwena claimed to have made some new demands to Wydad Athletic Club president Hicham Ait Menna, it is now said the South African may get his wishes, but only on one condition.

Mokwena is under growing pressure to deliver results in Morocco, with his side having slumped to their third defeat of the season against RS Berkane last weekend.

The club is now ninth on the Botola Pro 1 table after eight matches played, leaving them six points adrift of the top of the standing.

Despite signing 21 players in the most recent transfer window, a number of them have not performed as expected since.

Mokwena is reported to have asked the Wydad president to axe seven of them and replace them with three top-quality new signings in the next window now that he is familiar with the reality of the Moroccan top flight and what is required to succeed in it.

According to Kooora, an unnamed source from Wydad said: "Ait Menna may accept Mokwena's proposals in one case, if Wydad's results improve in the coming rounds to ensure his stay in his position until the winter transfer window.

"The president is surprised by these demands because the South African is the architect of the summer deals and agreed to them.

"He is the one who insisted on traveling to Brazil to sign three players, one of whom ended his season with an injury, and the other two have not been convinced yet."
