FIFA has unveiled its latest and final rankings for 2024, confirming the top 10 teams on the African continent.
The final FIFA Rankings of 2024 have cemented Morocco's dominance in African football, with the Atlas Lions concluding the year as the highest-ranked African nation.

Despite slipping two spots globally to 14th, Morocco remains at the summit of the continental rankings.
Expectations for the North African giants were high for 2024, but their round-of-16 elimination to South Africa at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tempered their momentum.
Despite this setback, the Atlas Lions remain the continent's top-ranked nation, holding off their closest rivals, Senegal.
The Teranga Lions sit 17th globally, maintaining their reputation as one of the continent's elite teams.
Egypt, meanwhile, completes Africa's top three, moving up three spots since February to put them 33rd in the world.
Bafana Bafana finishes the year as the tenth best side on the continent. This comes after they reached the semi-finals of AFCON 2023 and secured their spot at the next edition of the showpiece set to take place in Morocco next year.

Internationally, Argentina end the year as the number-one-ranked side in the world with France behind them in second position.
Les Bleus are trailed by Spain, and England go into 2025 in fourth place. Brazil, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, Italy and Germany round up the top 10 in the world.
