This comes after the side were banned from registering new signings as a result of breaching the contracts of three former players.

It had previously been reported that new club president Hicham Ait Menna had been working hard to get the ban lifted, gaining the financial liquidity to help pay of their debts.

After finishing sixth on the Botola Pro 1 table at the end of the 2023/24 campaign, the Red Castle began taking the appropriate steps to try to get the side back to winning ways.

The club appointed Mokwena to the role of head coach, and brought in 18 fresh faces, including Brazilian starlet Pedrinho and South African star Cassius Mailula, despite external concerns about their financial limitations then-inability to register their new players.

Now, however, with the ban being lifted, Wydad are able to register their new signings as they prepare to take on the challenges that the 2024/25 season has to offer.
