With Percy Tau's future in Egypt enshrouded in uncertainty, Al Ahly's latest stance on the Bafana Bafana star has reportedly been revealed.
The South Africa international's contract with the Red Devils is set to expire at the end of next season, with some members of the club's hierarchy believed to be in favour of him staying, while others reportedly want to move him on for the financial benefits his sale would bring.

It has been claimed Tau's level of performance over the course of the 2023/24 season and his recent absence caused by an injury he sustained while on international duty with Bafana Bafana has caused some in the Cairo club's hierarchy to "welcome his departure".
While that may be their stance on the forward, it has been suggested that the player's exit will only be given the green light if the Club of the Century manage to find a suitable replacement for his position.
Previous reports indicated that the 12-time CAF Champions League winners had identified Tala'ea El Gaish forward Youssry Wahid as a potential replacement for the former Brighton Hove Albion star.
According to Kooora, who cited a source at the club, Ahly have received an offer from South African giants Kaizer Chiefs, who are claimed to be interested in the forward's services.
However, it is said the Egyptian club did not consider the offer due to it being of "weak financial compensation".
The publication went on to add that the Red Devils have also received calls from a Saudi Pro League club for Tau, but nothing official is said to have been submitted.
Previous offers for the former Mamelodi Sundowns player are said to have come in from newly-promoted Saudi Pro League side Al Kholood and another Saudi club, Al Wehda, but those were deemed to have been "weak", with the Marcel Koller-led side reported to have put a price tag of between $2 million (R36 million) and $3 million (R54 million) on the South African.
