There has reportedly been a new coaching development at an African club that has been linked with a move for Pitso Mosimane.
Mosimane remains without a job after parting ways with United Arab Emirates team Al Wahda back in November 2023.

Reports suggest that there has been no shortage of interest in the South African tactician, though, as he has been linked with several roles, including the Nigeria national team job and the hot seat at Egyptian club Pyramids FC.
A down-turn in form has seen current Pyramids boss Jaime Pacheco come under immense pressure, leading to speculation he could be replaced if results do not improve.
Prior claiming a third-place finish in the Egyptian Super Cup on 28 December, the Cairo-based outfit had been winless for a full month, a run that included a draw and a loss Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Champions League.
However, with Mosimane having been linked with taking the reins at Pyramids, their hierarchy has decided to give Pacheco more time at the helm despite the fact the side has dropped from first place to fourth in the Egyptian Premier League over the past month, according to Mes7at.com.
A source said: "The departure of Pacheco? This is completely incorrect and the management of the team has no intention of leaving the coach at the moment.
"Pyramids still have many games and tournaments like the Champions League and the local league, and it doesn't make sense for the coach to leave at this time, so Pacheco continues his work.
"The team is resting until 4 January and then we return to continue working, and there is no talk within the club's management about Pacheco's departure, so he stays with the team."

Mosimane has pedigree in Egypt, having previously managed 99 games for Al Ahly, picking up 65 wins, 24 draws, and just 10 losses, according to Transfermarkt.
