A former Mamelodi Sundowns star has insisted that Knowledge Musona should come out of international retirement and extend his goal record for Zimbabwe.
In May 2022, Musona announced his retirement from the Zimbabwe national team at the age of 31.

The former Kaizer Chiefs star made 48 appearances for his country, registering 25 goals and six assists, according to Transfermarkt.
With two years having gone by, the Al-Okhdood striker is still missed by the Warriors, with new boss Michael Nees recently stating that he is making attempts to convince the player to come out of retirement.
Fellow Zim star Khama Billiat made widespread headlines when he came out of international retirement in August, with the winger almost instantly being handed his return caps during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in September against Kenya and Cameroon.
Former Sundowns player and team manager Peter Ndlovu has now insisted Musona should follow in Billiat's footsteps and rescind his retirement from Zimbabwe duty.
"Khama your country always needed you. Thanks for returning boy," Ndlovu wrote on X.
"The confidence you instil to the team is unimaginable. The likes of Wales (sic) have vastly been improving learning from you.
"We hope Knowledge can give us another 10 games so that he surpasses the record goals."
