Wydad AC president Hicham Ait Menna has made a certain request following the announcement of Rulani Mokwena as the side's new manager, and also explained how they landed his signature.
The South African tactician was officially unveiled by his new club on Thursday, after his sudden departure from DStv Premiership giants Mamelodi Sundowns.

The 37-year-old has penned a three-year deal with the Moroccan side as he looks to get them back into the CAF Champions League after the 2023/24 campaign saw them finish sixth on the Botola Pro 1 table.
Ait Menna, who was also recently appointed to his position, has since urged supporters to be patient, requesting that they give the club's newly-formed structure time to turn things around.

"I hope that the Wydad fans will be patient and give me and the coach a little time. I know that they are thirsty, so it is natural that they will exert this great pressure," the club president said at Mokwena's unveiling, per Elbotola.
"It has been 12 days since I was appointed president of Wydad, and everyone thinks that I have the staff of Moses, and it is not easy to find a coach worthy of the name of Wydad."
Ait Menna went on to share what the next steps will be.
"We have finished the first stage, which is the team's image, and the second stage is related to the players.
"Starting this Saturday, the coach will begin making his choices, and starting next week, we will begin concluding contracts in line with Wydad's needs and the coach's plan."
The Moroccan side's chief also explained how he managed to acquire the former Orlando Pirates coach's services, and how it took the help of a close friend to set up the meeting.
"During his separation from his team, Mamelodi Sundowns, we tried to contact him and his lawyer, who is considered his agent," Ait Menna added.
"After that, we sought the help of a close friend, so that we could hold a phone meeting with him [Mokwena], and we tried to convince him within 24 hours, and he asked us to give him 24 hours due to his psychological state that did not allow him to talk about signing with a new team.
"We talked to him again the next day.
"We met with his agent in Paris, given the difficulty in obtaining his passport, before he obtained it [on Wednesday].
"It is an honour for any individual to join the Wydad family and head a team like Wydad Athletic Club."
