The 23-year-old is yet to see any game time this season, and took no part in the Red Castle's opening 2024/25 Botola Pro 1 encounter against Maghreb de Fes, a match in which they suffered a 1-0 defeat.
However, according Moroccan news site Madar 21, per 365scores, Haimoud has passed up the opportunity to begin afresh somewhere else in favour of staying at the club and fighting for his place in the team, and proving he is good enough to play under Mokwena.
It is claimed Kuwait Premier League outfit Al-Arabi SC presented the player a "tempting financial offer" in the hopes of landing his signature.
It is also suggested that Wydad had approved the sale of the midfielder, but the 23-year-old is said to have pulled out of the deal as he believes the Moroccan outfit will offer him a new contract over the course of the current season.
Haimoud is understood to be intent on staying in Morocco to grow his career and developing as a player under Mokwena's guidance.
The midfielder is also thought to be motivated by his past experiences and successes with the club, and looks intent on achieving more with Wydad.
