Zamalek responds to links with Pitso Mosimane

Zamalek have responded to reports linking Pitso Mosimane with a return to the Egyptian Premier League.

Mosimane enjoyed a successful couple years with Zamalek's rivals Al Ahly, where he won a number of trophies, including two CAF Champions League titles.

The South African tactician is currently coaching UAE Pro League side Al Wahda after he parted ways with Al Ahly last year.

However, Zamalek board member Ahmed Soliman insists there has been no talks with the former Mamelodi Sundowns coach about replacing Juan Carlos Osorio.

"Osorio will continue his tasks in managing Zamalek," Soliman told MBC Masr.

"We have not contacted Mosimane or any other replacement for Osorio.

"We've also put a plan to pay all the managerial staff's wages. We fully support them and they have our backing."

The White Knight currently find themselves sitting seventh spot on the Egyptian Premier League standings, after collecting eight points from six encounters.
