"We'd like to welcome Teenage and his family to Cincinnati," general manager Chris Albright said, according to Cincinnati's official website.
"His MLS and international experience, as well as his skill-set and defensive quality, will make him a strong addition to our group.
"We are excited to have him join the club."
The move marks a swift return for Hadebe to the United States top flight after joining Turkish outfit Konyaspor in February following his release by Houston Dynamo.
"I'm so happy to join FC Cincinnati," Hadebe said of the move.
"I'm excited to join up with the team and meet the fans at TQL stadium soon. I look forward to giving my all to fight for this club as we look to achieve our goals this season."
Hadebe has made 51 appearances in the MLS to date, and in 2023, he won the US Open Cup, which remains the first and only major title of his career.
