A foreign club reportedly remains in negotiations with Pitso Mosimane in a bid to secure the South African tactician's services.
The former Al Ahly boss has been in talks with Iranian outfit Esteghlal FC, according to the Egypt Telegraph, who cited a source within the club.

It is claimed that negotiations between the two parties reached at an advanced stage, with the only dispute being in relation to the financial terms and bonuses for winning matches.
It remains to be seen, though, if an overall agreement is reached, with it having been suggested the deal is already off, while other reports in Iran claim talks are still ongoing despite stumbling blocks.
Esteghlal currently sit in 11th position on the Persian Gulf Pro League table after recording only two wins and three defeats in seven matches.
Mosimane, meanwhile, has been without a team since parting ways with Saudi Pro league side Abha Club in June.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns coach was appointed by them on a short-term contract in January this year, and was tasked with saving the club from relegation.
However, after 15 games at the helm, the 60-year-old saw his charges record just five victories and was ultimately unable to keep the Leaders of the South from dropping into the country's second tier.

The tactician was also recently linked with a move to Moroccan outfit Raja Club Athletic, but it is believed they refused to enter into negotiations with the coach due to the financial demands he would come with.
