It has been a full year since Neymar played his last game, with the Brazil superstar having sustained a season-ending injury while on international duty with the Selecao in October 2023.

As such, this derailed the player's first season on the books of Al Hilal, who paid a club-record fee of €90 million (R1.7 billion) to lure him way from Paris Saint-Germain at the beginning of the 2023/24 campaign.
With his deal in Saudi Arabia due to expire in June 2025, it is now claimed he already knows where he is headed next.
According to FC Barcelona Noticias, Neymar has reached a verbal agreement to join Inter Miami, where he would reunite with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.
The three players formed a fearsome attacking trio during their time together at FC Barcelona, famously being referred to as "MSN".
The move would also see him link up with former Blaugrana colleagues Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, who also play for the David Beckham-co-owned team
It is further claimed that if the deal comes to fruition, the Brazilian could join the MLS team at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, although it is yet to be confirmed whether or not they will be taking part.
