Osimhen 'agrees terms' with new club!

After a tumultuous transfer window that resulted in his club taking drastic action against him, Victor Osimhen has now agreed terms with a new club.

The Serie A giants have struck an agreement with Turkish outfit Galatasaray that will see the Nigeria attacker moved to Turkey on a season-long loan deal, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

This comes after the Super Eagles star saw a move to Chelsea fall through on Friday after supposedly being unable to reach an agreement on personal terms with the London club.

He is also said to have reached an agreement with Saudi pro League outfit Al Ahli, but the clubs were unable to find common ground on a transfer fee.

As a result of not being able to manufacture a move away from the club after pushing for one, it is understood that Gli Azzurri excluded the forward from their squad list for the season ahead, and stripped him of the No. 9 jersey.

Osimhen now appears to be on the verge of exiting the club, having already made his way to Istanbul to finalise his move.

The loan agreement is understood to have no buy option, while Osimhen's salary will be paid in full by the Turkish giants.

In the process of negotiating his loan exit, it was also agreed that the Super Eagles star's contract with Napoli would be extended until 2026, and include an option for an extra year, along with a new release clause said to be in the region of €75 million (R1.4 billion), believed to be half of the previous buyout clause that had been in place.

While the transfer window may be closed for most sides across Europe, Turkish teams have until 13 September to finalise their deals and alter their squads.

It has also been claimed the striker has requested a break clause in his deal that will allow him to part ways with Galatasaray if a top club attempts to capture him in the January transfer window.
