Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has been ruled out for the rest of the 2022/2023 season after freak accident while on holiday.
The shot-stopper was on holiday after Germany's shock group stage exit at the FIFA World Cup a couple weeks ago.

However, the 36-year-old will play no further part of the campaign for the Bundesliga champions after fracturing his right leg during a skiing accident.

Neuer took to social media send a message to the supporters after his freak accident.
"Hey guys, what can I say, the end of the year could have definitely gone better...," Neuer tweeted.
"While I was trying to get my head clear while ski touring, I suffered a lower leg fracture. Yesterday's surgery went well. Many thanks to the doctors! However, it hurts to know that the current season is over for me. Take care! Your Manuel."
