Bayern 'make final call' on Mane's future

Bayern Munich have now reportedly made a final call on Sadio Mane's future with them following his recent bust-up.

The Senegal international's punch-up with teammate Leroy Sane last month led to reports suggesting that Bayern were ready to part ways with the former Liverpool player.

Despite the club's stance, it is believed the African superstar wants to stay at the Allianz Arena and end his debut campaign with the club on a positive note.

Manager Thomas Tuchel, however, was said to not view the 31-year-old as someone who fits into his tactical plans for the next campaign.

As such, a number of European giants, including Chelsea and Real Madrid, are reportedly showing interest in signing the forward.

Now, according to Sport BILD journalist Christian Falk, the Bavarians have decided to actively look for buyers for the Lions of Teranga winger.

Mane has contributed with 12 goals and five assists in 35 appearances across all competitions since making the move to Germany in June last year, but his strike against Mainz on 22 April was his first since the end of October.

Falk also ruled out a potential swap deal that would see Napoli and Nigeria star Victor Osimhen move to Munich, stating that Mane's wage demands are too excessive for the Serie A club.

The journalist added that if Chelsea's interest is concrete, the Bundesliga side would be willing to negotiate a transfer with the Blues.
