Bayern Munich's top earners after Sadio Mane deal

With Sadio Mane set to more than double his previous wage at Bayern Munich, here are the Bundesliga champions' top earners today!

The Senegal star was unveiled as a new Bayern player on Wednesday afternoon after Liverpool finally agreed to accept a £35 million (R682 million) bid from the German club for his services, having rejected two previous offers.

Mane joins the Bavarians on a three-year deal that will see him become one of the club's biggest earners with his new wages of £250 000 (R4.8 million) a week, according to the Daily Mirror.

This is a significant increase on the salary he was earning with the Reds, believed to be £100 000 (R1.9 million) a week, per Spotrac.

There are a few others who earn more than the Senegal international will at the Allianz Arena, though.

While Robert Lewandowski is currently in the midst of a battle with the Bayern hierarchy in a bid to force a move to FC Barcelona, he remains the German club's highest-paid player.

In 2019, the Poland international signed a four-year deal that sees him earn a weekly wage of £325 000 (R6.3 million).

Serge Gnabry, another player who is reportedly looking to leave Bavaria, is also among the best-paid players in Munich today. When he renewed his deal in 2019, the tricky winger was given a bumper new contract worth £130 000 (R2.5 million) a week.
